Welcome and thanks for your interest in supporting the Brisbane Basket Brigade

The Brisbane Basket Brigade is all about giving back at Christmas. Volunteers helping those who may have fallen on hard times or just need to be reminded that someone cares and Christmas can be full of love. We fundraise throughout the year to put together baskets to be delivered to families anonymously close to Christmas.

The Brisbane Basket Brigade is part of a national charity run through the Magic Moments Foundation of Australia and is a non-profit organisation. Check out this great youtube video from Sydney, that runs though how it all works.

As we are getting closer to our big Packing and Delivery Day (Sunday 11th December 2011), we are now organising the details to ensure the day runs smoothly and everyone has a great time :-). Therefore, we'd really appreciate your assistance ... please spend a few minutes providing us with your name and contact details, to help us with our planning..... Please register to volunteer. (Please read the Teams section of the FAQ page first)so that we can get an idea of numbers. We are hoping to help over 300 families this year and we'll need 120 volunteers. So please share this with your friends, family and colleagues - it's a great way to put the meaning back into Christmas.

Details about the teams and their roles and also about  Packing Day are on the FAQ page - plus you will get several email reminders in the week leading up to packing & delivery day.

We hope that you can help us to create another successful year, by putting hope and love back into people's hearts and smiles onto many faces, this Christmas. Your contribution - however great or small will make a difference.
